Since the 2003 RELAX debut, this very special summery sound has been an integral part of the vacation feeling. It’s therefore not surprising that a Balearic and Mediterranean touch have always been important cornerstones of the albums. After all, Ibiza and Mallorca have always been the summer refuges and sources of inspiration for Piet, Jaspa, and Andy.
After the trio first danced in Ibiza’s legendary clubs like KU in the 80s, they rose to become legendary DJs at Amnesia in the 90s. Afterwards, they played their famous chill-out sets at iconic places like Café del Mar and El Divino on Ibiza or El Cielo Café on Mallorca. So it’s no wonder that their current refuge, “La Torre” on Ibiza, is considered the number one sunset spot on the island.
