Gisbert Zu Knyphausen Kai Schumacher “Lass irre Hunde heulen”

The well-known German singer-songwriter Gisbert zu Knyphausen releases the album “Let Mad Dogs Howl” today together with Kai Schumacher.
One of the most renowned songwriters in Germany meets the piano virtuoso Kai Schumacher, resulting in new interpretations of famous songs by Franz Schubert in Gisbert zu Knyphausen’s unique style. The duo dedicates an entire album to one of the greatest composers of the 19th century, Franz Schubert. With a catalog of over 600 works, Schubert is considered a master of the romantic art song. Ten tracks were selected, forming a curated cross-section through all his creative phases. All songs have been modernly arranged and exceptionally interpreted.
A full band has contributed to this, merging two universes: that of the singer-songwriter zu Knyphausen and that of the pianist and composer Kai Schumacher. This creates an entirely unique charm that envelops the songs.
