Nils Landgren Honored with Rheingau Music Prize

Nils Landgren received the Rheingau Music Prize on December 11, 2021.
The Swedish trombonist Nils Landgren accepted the Rheingau Music Prize 2021 on December 11, 2021, at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden as part of his concert under the motto “Christmas With My Friends”. The certificate was presented by Michael Herrmann, the artistic director of the Rheingau Music Festival.
In justifying the award, the jury praised Landgren as “one of the most important jazz musicians in Europe and a unique musical personality that is second to none.”
