Tokio Hotel Conquer Berlin with Their New Single “how to Love”
Promotional Highlight: Motion Tower Campaign at Berlin’s Main Train Station in Cooperation with YouTube Music
On June 20th, Tokio Hotel released their latest single “How To Love” – already the second single to be released through the digital music distribution company Kontor New Media.
As a special highlight, the band led by Bill and Tom Kaulitz can be seen prominently on the motion towers at Berlin’s main train station for an entire week in cooperation with YouTube Music. The promotion creates additional visibility for their latest pop hit, with which the band celebrates a major anniversary.
20 Years of “through the Monsoon”: Tokio Hotel Celebrate Their Anniversary
2025 marks a special anniversary: it has been 20 years since Tokio Hotel celebrated their worldwide breakthrough with “Durch den Monsun”. Fittingly, the band is celebrating their ongoing career with “How To Love” and an unprecedented media presence. A live performance in the finale of “Germany’s Next Topmodel” (with over 4 million viewers), the premiere of the second season of their successful Netflix series “Kaulitz & Kaulitz”, and Bill Kaulitz as the first German man on the cover of VOGUE Germany underline the band’s status.
Since their formation in 2001, Tokio Hotel has sold over 10 million records, received 70+ platinum and 120+ gold certifications, and won 110 awards worldwide. Their talent and ability to constantly reinvent themselves make them true global icons. The band, which also regularly appears as coaches on “The Voice of Germany” and hosts a successful weekly Spotify podcast, proves with “How To Love” and the preceding single “Hands Up” (celebrated live on European tour) that their pop sound and relevance remain unbroken.
