On June 25, 1950, the Korean War breaks out when the North Korean army invades South Korea. 772 inexperienced student soldiers are ordered to pave the way for the “Operation Chromite” of the allied US soldiers, which is supposed to bring about a turning point. However, the inexperience of the young recruits is the battalion’s greatest weakness. The mission is akin to a suicide mission that only a few will survive.
