About the film:
A romantic comedy about an Israeli woman marrying a German woman: A witty, fast-paced culture clash film about love, prejudices, and crazy families. The lively Jewish grandmother Berta and her equally passionate granddaughter Shira argue intimately about love and what a woman is allowed to do and what not. Especially when her beloved granddaughter chooses Maria, a German, of all people. The two young women are getting serious – they want to get married. The chaos is complete when Maria’s parents from Germany meet the mishpocheh in Jerusalem.
