Die Nerven Unleash an Audiovisual Explosion of Post-Punk, Hardcore, and Alternative Rock Sounds with “COLLIDE”
The German post-punk band Die Nerven fuses bitter post-punk pessimism with fiery hardcore anthems and an alternative rock sound in their music. The lyrics seem to both predict and ward off the future. In their latest work “COLLIDE”, Die Nerven ignite the stage with their distinctive sound and the tracks “Frei” and “DER ERDE GLEICH”. Accompanied by somber visuals from Casper Westhausen in collaboration with Elastique, a fresh perspective on the raw energy of the band is offered.
Die Nerven present an almost eight-minute live version of “DER ERDE GLEICH”. Also included in this set is an intense cover version of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades”, which has already become a staple of their live performances on tour. The visuals by Casper Westhausen, ranging from flaming 80s metal impressions to monster trucks and desert aesthetics, enhance the experience and transform the music into a completely new audiovisual experience. “COLLIDE” shows Die Nerven in their most powerful form and conveys the compelling intensity of their music.
