Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr “Mosaic”

Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr release “Mosaic” today.
The new album spans quite a wide range, from the Wasserfuhr studio in Hückeswagen to Nashville, with 12 fellow musicians at work. Just like a mosaic, different moods are united on this record. It also includes a rap song and a homage to Kurt Cobain, among others.
The band describes the idea behind the album title as follows:
“The album title reflects our musical processing of the last two years. As diverse as the individual pieces and the associated emotions are, so is the selection of musicians and friends who have played this music. And yet for us, it creates a coherent picture. One that has emerged from the experiences, conversations, and encounters with people during this time”
The lineup on the album tracks appears particularly special. On four titles of the album, there’s a rhythm section consisting of bassist Tim Lefebvre, who has already played with David Bowie, Elvis Costello, or the Tedeschi Trucks Band. He is joined by US colleague Keith Carlock, who lives in Nashville and has already drummed for Steely Dan and Toto.
“Mosaic” is now available everywhere and contains a total of 11 tracks.
