Die Fantastischen Vier – Irgendwann

Die Fantastischen Vier release new single “Irgendwann”.
Originally, Die Fantastischen Vier wanted to focus on their big stadium/open-air tour in 2020 to celebrate their 30th band anniversary. We all know why this unfortunately could not take place as planned. Instead, like most artists, they were at home and alone with their questions and feelings. Michi Beck, who spent the first wave of the pandemic with his family in the extremely hard lockdown in Spain, describes the situation as follows:

“We actually didn’t plan to write new songs this year, but eventually writing became the only possible occupation and a welcome outlet to express our feelings. Logically, the first texts automatically dealt with fears and worries, but also with hope and defiance.”

“Irgendwann” combines exactly these feelings. As their first new track after two years, Die Fantastischen Vier are releasing an unusually melancholic and at the same time reconciliatory-comforting rap song for the band, which classically deals with the theme of “Irgendwann” from the three perspectives of Smudo, Thomas D and Michi Beck.
